I never get tired of Albert King, especially his stuff from the Stax days when he was backed by Booker "T" and the MGs. What a combination -- Steve Cropper and Albert King!

I've never really agreed with calling BB King a "minimalist" guitar player. I mean, certainly he's not blazing all over and wasting everybody's time, but the man can burn. He was doing all sorts of crazy stuff last night, diminished runs etc etc..
And his TONE! It was the most disgusting sound I've heard live in awhile, I LOVED it. The man is 80 years old, and more punk rock than anyone I've heard in a long time... lol..

I'd say Albert, but B.B. is a great entertainer. Even after all these years of performing he still has the same kind of soul and puts on a great show.
