Little Milton in coma

A discussion of the blues for blues lovers and fans.

Little Milton in coma

Postby papatex » Thu Aug 04, 2005 1:11 am

I just saw on the Yahoo headlines that Little Milton has had a stroke
and is in a coma. He just played my hometown (Corsicana, TX) a month
ago. I was too wiped out from a Leon Russell show the previous night
to go.:-( Send up your prayers.

It's an anomaly and natural progression, I suppose...all of our blues heroes and influences eventually passing...literally giving us the blues and thereby ensuring that the blues will live on.

As I continue to collect music and borrow chops from my mentors, I was just lamenting yesterday that I never got to see Junior Wells.

Prayers go out for Milton.
