Hal Nelson passes

Postby jeffl » Mon Oct 10, 2005 12:24 pm

Hal wuz a 70 yr. old woodwind and brass player outa Mankato Mn.; he wuz a guy you could call whenever you had a guy go down,or lose a guy. He knew his music, played flawlessly, and could be counted on (he didn't drink at all). He will be missed in Minnesota, and in polka and dixieland circles all over the midwest.

As opposed to a lot of guys I know- who can be counted on to drink.

Sympathies for the loss of your friend, Bubba.
