I believe the song "Meet Me With Your Black Drawers On" was written by and originally recorded by Billie and Dr. De Pierce. They now live and perform in San Diego. They aren't household blues names but wouldn't it be nice to have written just one song that many recorded and made so many people smile.

Thanks for givin' the proper credit, Doc.
Used to play a little dive in Texas about once a month. They had the Bluebirds version on an anthology albumn. The DJ that played between band sets knew to play that song as the first one after our last set -- it was a standard request from the band. Great music to break down to.

I'm bettin' heaven has a helluva band.
