This is not from a blues song, but it ought to be. I once heard a man in his eighties give his reasoning for not trying to court his widowed neighbor: "Been too many turtles in that muddy water hole."

I think his funniest song is Mastercharge. And the cool thing about that song is his wife wrote it!
