Name that song

Postby blindtater » Thu Sep 22, 2005 6:41 am

Hi, At the beginning of the late Robert Palmer's film "Deep Blue", there is an arial shot of of the bridge @ Memphis & of the city. A band is playing some blues. The camera eventually goes to the band. Can anyone tell me the name of the band and the name of the song? See Ya, Blindtater.

Well....lookin at the insert in the DVD . The first song listed is "I'm So Glad Trouble Don't Last Always" by Benjamin Perry . I do know the first full performance was Booker T. Laury ......so I'm guessing , without actually playing the disc , that Mr. Perry is what you're looking for....
