Instructional videos for young beginners

Postby spud camp » Wed Nov 30, 2005 5:48 pm

I have a cousin who is having a real rough go of things. He is trying to find solace in guitar playing. The problem is, his mom being a single mom has no $ for lessons, and he has know one around to teach him. I would, but I live about 800 miles away. I would like to find an instructional video, just to get him started. He is only about 10 so it needs to be real simple and easy to follow. Anybody have any suggestions?

IMHO--The best suggestion/advice/direction for exploring/pursuing/getting on fire for _____ is: go to the local/school/public library. You know, it's sorta like, if the desire is really there, you can likely get on well w/whatever.
Good Luck to you & the lad! he may be the next JLang or ?!!!
