Got turned on to harman about 13 or 14 years ago. I understand he is huge on the east coast. He is not as technical as someone like Rod Piazza (whom I met & found him unpleasant) but is a fantastic "power player" and his band plays a wide diversity of stuff. Swing, Chicago, & just good ole downhome blues. Try "do not disturb" - it kicks a**! Gary Primich is good too & seems like a swell guy. Just my 2cents, roy

Harman's a great singer, harp player, and one of the most creative writers of blues songs alive.

Amen.

He has written some of the funniest modern blues lyrics I have ever heard.

If you can find it pick up his live record with Hollywood Fats and Kid Ramos on guitars. A classic record, but hard to find.
