Hello,
here are my pals on Paul Jones BBC Radio 2,the style is late 60's beat with a blues harp and some brilliant vox +lyris.

Paul Jones...well try and filter him out...
The three BI's tracksare at about 4 mins, 25 mins and I think 40+mins

Great stuff, Lovat!

Richard Rinn can wail on that harp. Not on pic of harpin' on their website though...the photog must be the drummer's bird or sumpin'.

Helo Iceman,
I have played a few time in a duet form with Richard Rinn and he just keeps getting better..and I don't think he is 30 yet.

Also his voice is getting as good as his harp, he has got that Little Stevie Winwood intonation going on and I love the way he sings around the note.

The other thing is that those recordings are done likely round one mic ( mebs two..but no more) Richard really goes for that analogue/air sound...and I think it works well.
As he says "why put a mic inside a bass drum...you wouldn't put your head in there !"

On the BBC 2 Paul Jones "listen again " (Real Player) the BI's track is second track in after a King Curtis instrumental, there is a funky one at about 25 mins and a bluesier one at about 50 mins.

adios,
Lovat
