That would explain it. And I was looking for a bluesman as well, not a shredder. Eric seems intent on remaining a mystery, even the biography on his own website does not list his birthday or birthplace.

He is a bluesman, he just plays faster than everyone.. ever..
Anyway, this is another scary bluesman. Rather than playing in a usual open tuning, most of his material was in cross note. He's buried in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania and when I went to see his grave my car died on me. Fun day though.
So who's the guy?
