A while back, I got a fantastic JSP box set of pre-WWII Hawaiian recordings, "It's Hotter in Hawaii". I listen to that quite a lot, usually alternating with a healthy(?) dose of Blind Boy Fuller.
Lately, I've been getting into a bit more jazz, Chet Baker and Art Pepper's Playboys Sessions gets a fair bit of play here too. I love their inventive riffing.
Interesting how we go through phases, eh?

I'll be movin again pretty soon aswell. My brother and his girl couldnt keep up their share of the rent. Makes me wonder if I'd really be able to relax if I didn't end up having to move every few months.

Just checked out that new album by the Black Key's fellow, Keep It Hid. I like a lot of it. Mean Monsoon is my favorite track off the album. Lotta cool sounds on the whole record though.

Which way is Texas.
Love this guys playing, dig this album.

Oh, man... I dig Anson so much. The band with Sam was some of the best blues ever, and Anson remains on my short list of all-time best electric blues guitar players, alive or dead. I had the privilege of opening for that band a number of times, and got to play with Anson and Sam on one occasion! Check out "Sins", if you haven't done so already.

I just DL'd the complete Robert Johnson collection from Amazon, and I have been listening to a bunch of classic T-Birds, as well as Sugar Ray and the Blue Tones, Ronnie Earl, and Roomful of Blues.
