Son House would probably love you quoting Jimmy Carter since Carter's family fought on the Confederate side in the civil war

Sarcasm is lost; I weep.

the issue is i bet most of you lot here slagging me off are rich middle class people that aint never known blues

It's going to get like The Four Yorkshiremen in here.

If blues, is, as Son House said, between a man and a woman and the such-and-such blues is just monkey junk, than knowing hard socio-economic times is hardly a prerequisite.

It sounds more like you agree with Howlin' Wolf and not Son House. Howlin' Wolf who played that awful Chicago blues.

If white folk can't play blues then how do you explain this straight up blues being played between a man and a woman? That's right suckers, The White Stripes are a counter-example to black-only blues. Check and mate, my friends, check and mate.

Not keen on her wrist action when she played drums - lacking suppleness and mobility. This may have spilled over into various other areas of her life.

You had dreams of a corridor? We weren't allowed dreams of corridors, we had to dream about living outside locked doors.

And they talks about Blues? Eeee! All we 'ad were George Formby! Now tell me what sufferin' were!
