Honeyboy Edwards

Last week Honeyboy received a lifetime achievement award from The National Guitar Museum. He played at B.B. King's in NYC.

There's an article about the evening's performances at The American Blues News.

Check it out:

Since I no longer receive the local newspaper, I missed the article reviewing Honeyboy's latest release and the announcement he was playing at a local venue this past weekend. Rats.

Kingston, Ny, is that near 1000 islands?

edited: never mind, thinking of kingston ontario.

Everybody who can should see Honeyboy especially if it would be the first time.

I've heard him playing live only less than about 4 or 5 times.
I was so fortunate as to have been at his home twice, but only one of those did he play anything, but of course it was much fun and quite an honor both times.
