The lowdown on the Mississippi Sax. Just for Google, this section is about harmonicas.

Anybody in MA?

Postby jamesfarrell » Thu Aug 02, 2007 12:14 am

Hey, I was wondering if there is anybody in MA that sings / plays harp interested in gettin something going with me? I'm a slide blues player and I can pretty much play anything there is but I'm having a tough time with the vocals.

If interested, send me an email.

Hmmm, well if there aren't any harp players in MA maybe I should move there and be the best harp player in a field of none.

You may have to compete with Magic Dick, Sugar Ray Norcia, Annie Raines and others. :)

Yo, that woman can play. HOL E CRAP. What type of harmonica is that? I don't know sh*t about harmonica, other than I can't play it  but there are some harmonicas that have that deep growl to them. Is that a different harp or is the the combo of the harp and mic that is making it sound like that?

Thanks for posting that chief.

As far as I know Annie plays Hohner Marine Bands. That looks like a standard ten hole diatonic. It's the combo of the harp, mic amp and PLAYER'S ABILITY (90% of the sound) that makes a difference.
