That SNL skit has always been hilarious and people yell out "More Cowbell!" all the time at gigs.

I usually find an interesting background part to play and really like to use the Hohner low harps for this. Think like a sax player!
Even on the rock tunes we have to play to stay working, I am still able to find something fun to play. Yes, I also play on "Brickhouse" !! Actually I take a big solo on that.
Since I also play lots of loud lap steel, this goes over well on the heavier tunes as well as the SRV inspired blues tunes.
