Okay...fess up you guys...! Who among us has dished out eight hundred and some odd smackers for a new 60th Anniversary "Woody" Pro Jr.? Rico..was it you....? The promo sez it's good for the office. I'm not really knockin' it; I jus' don't have the money to do something like that. Those guys are gonna put Brian Purdy on the map, drivin' everybody to his doorstep for his Harpgear amps. Am I missin' somethin' here....?

No, wasn't me!

(Do you know how many cool old Mausers, Mosin-Nagants, and/or Swiss Schmidt-Rubin K-31 carbines I could buy for that?!)

Well those are cool lookin amps and I hear they sound pretty good too. But yeah, there's more bang for the buck to be had elsewhere.

Those were cool looking!

I've got a Crate VC 508, though, and I can't recommend it really. Too much gain with the op amp ahead of the 12AX7. I gave it to my boy a long time ago. He likes way too much gain.

(Fixed the typo, it's a VC 508.)
