Thinkin about learnin the harp

Postby leftyguitarman » Tue Aug 22, 2006 6:14 am

I love the harp, but have never wanted to play it until the other day, when I decided that it sounds fun. I will probably buy a cheapo one until I get the hang of it, but, anyone got some instructional sites that can give me the basics? Thanks a lot!

Right here is a good place to start. Have you checked out the harp instruction section here at BRB and coast2coast?
Then check http://www.harmonicalinks.com

Hey J-Ro, I like that site! Great stuff.

When you get a little bored with the blues...nuthin' like some train chuggin' or Beethoven's 9 th to shake things up a bit.

That just made my day. Thanks!

folks here are experts on what instructional stuff to get. I learned without any of that stuff. My teachers were guys like sonny terry. Don't overlook getting out and see/make friends with as many harp players that turn you on. Walter
