Pawn shop mic deal

Postby jeffl » Wed Jul 19, 2006 2:29 pm

One of the pawn shops here has a Green Bullet, without a volume control, for $39. I don't really need another mic, but my backup is a Blaster,so I don't have a backup bullet. Any opinions...? I'm not even giggin' right now,so I'm a little reticent to spend even a little bit of cash for somethin' I'm not likely to need. But,what about the deal....?

That's not a bad price if it works.

If it's an old one (and with no volume control it might be) it could be worth more than that for the element.

I'll have to go back & get the serial # off of it,but I think it's newer-possibly the model that came right before the 520DX,before they put the volume pot on it. I personally like havin' the volume control, for feedback control, and bouncin' back and forth between compin' and soloing, and I don't own a volume pedal. I could always throw an in-line volume control on it, or add a pot,but that jus' drives up the cost.

Like Bluesbox said.
Get it. Try it. Move it on. Make lots of money.

BTW. I stopped using the volume knob on my Blues Blaster since I got the pedal. So much easier for me, being finger challanged and all.
