solo acoustic harp

Hi All: I was recording my 1 man band today and felt way too cluttered. I kept slowing down the beat to no satifaction. I got it so slow and sparse that I was barely even playing anything. Still no satifaction. Satifaction to me means blasting off into outer space. So, I took a breath and the G harp called my name. I love playing the harp bare bones with space. It allows for details I can never get with the 1 man band set up. I got to remember to play solo harp more because it becomes a real meditation. Here is the result.

That's amazing Walter! My problem is ALWAYS forgetting to leave enough space, it definately seems like you don't have that problem!

Thanks Bournio! I started out a very simple player and never did take to the speed, fancy, high powered approach to music, via gimicks. I liked to get there with simple stuff done with a lot of heart. I guess I am still in that camp and happily so. When that wall of sound goes off, I leave asap. I often find it amusing when I see a band playing older styled blues very authentically and then after the adrenialin kicks in, the van halen roots show. It usually takes a solo or so, but it happens most everytime. IMO we should always play what we know cause I don't know much :D Walter
