Danelectro basses

Hey guys, is there anyone out there that knows abit about these Danelectro basses, my daughter is mad keen to get one. Do they have any quirks and troubles. Can't seem to fine anything about them here in Oz.

thanks Oleman, the web site was a great help. like most reviews some good and some no so. My daughter has decide to buy one, at the price you can't go much wrong. I have a good tech so he set it up right for her.

If you are talking about a Longhorn Bass, it might be just the thing for a little lady. They are fairly lightweight with a 24 fret neck that can be played all the way up the neck due to the unique cutouts of the horns.
