What is the proper tip for a barmaid that brought my doghouse back into the bar after I had driven off and left it in the parking lot. She called the next morning; I had'nt even missed it as we usually leave everthing in the van anyway. Was $50. enough? Thats what the gig paid.

Talk about feelin stupid!

I'd probably have dropped a 20, then gone back to the bar the next week and dropped another 20 on her. And then slightly overtipped on future visits.

Sort of based on my own behavior in similar situatoins.

But the 50 was a class act.

Yep Neon, very stout. She later confessed to me that she "fiddled" around with my upright bass the nite she brought it in and now wants me to give her "lessons."

Life is sweet! There has just got to be a song in this experience somewhere.

We do very little original material but this might just turn out to be a tribute tune, sort of like AC/DCs "Whole lota Rosie" God I hope so....

A lady fiddlin' around with your upright sounds kinda x-rated! Surely you can do somethin' with a great story like that.
