Any suggestions By pro Bassmen

Postby 601blues » Sun Jan 15, 2012 3:17 pm

I have fallen in love with Bass lines over the years,Doin my own Bass lines on my recordings,
at first I had a cheapo Rogue Bass 4 string, I bought at a yard sale, only used it for recording and it did a great job, sounded super recorded, then I bought a expensive bass, and gave away my Rogue like a dummie, Not happy with the new bass sound it has active pickups, and sounds terrible recorded, I want a good bass for studio work, Does anyone have any suggestions!! :wha:

You prolly all ready done the deed, but…
You can't go wrong with an SX Jazz Bass!
Oh, you wanna spend a tiny bit mo?
Well, than a Squire Jazz Bass, NICE!
OK, then how 'bout a Fender Jazz Bass?
Don't wanna spend any money?
Well, the first Jazz Bass copy you see…cheap.
