Bought me a new bass amp today. :D
Gallien Krueger 1001RB II amp & Gallien Krueger 410 NEO Speaker Cabinet.
It sounds real good & it can get loud.
Now I'm ready to play.
Too bad I'm off the next weekend.
I'll just stay home & play by myself.

How about a photo?

Practice will a lot of more fun now.
My little Ampeg B100R was being pushed to it's limits.
I came into some extra funds this past weekend.
Next Monday is my Birthday. 61 years old & still thumping.
Happy Birthday To Me !!! :D

I've always liked the sound of their lineup, but I honestly think it's due greatly to the fact that I've heard mostly good players usin' them. My impression is that they're versatile.

Good one. I had a B100R for a few years, and eventually sold it due to its limitations, not its tone. In January I got a Mesa/Boogie Walkabout Scout (no, I ain't rich, I sold my Les Paul to buy it) and found God. A guy at the music store who plays through Peavey gear asked me what was so special about the Mesa: I said, every bass amp reproduces bass notes, but where the others talk 'em, the Mesa sings 'em.

Wouldn't ya know: it died on me. Back it went to Petaluma and is due back any day.
