Cool McB. Quality boards are nice to have. Do you know if you can defeat the piano touch to give it an organ feel? My Yammy Clavinova does that ( I've never figured out how they do it ), but frankly, I use my cheap Yammy for playin' out, not the Clavinova.
I've always thought that Korg is one of those brands like Yamaha.. where you just can't go wrong. They might have the best "Hammond style" boards out there. I've always had my eyes on the Nord Electros, 'cuz I love the sound & size of 'em, but I haven't been able to justify the couple grand to buy one. Even though I've played alotta keyboards since the 60's, I consider myself to be an accomplished faker, and I feel like buyin' a pricey board would be like "casting pearls before the swine".
Have you had much chance to play around with your new board? How many notes does it have?
