Posted another tune last night.

Check http://www.soundclick.com/bignickviau for "The Parker Trot", a song in Open G dedicated to my lunatic cat. Played through my Gold Tone's Schatten pickup through my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.

I'm still getting some mic distortion, but I can't expect much from a labtech computer mic.

Enjoy, feel free to comment.

It's funny that you mentioned that. It is in Open G, but I usually prefer to play a whole step down. Didn't on this one though.

Hey Nick...nice one!
Sounds like your using a chorus box? Or is that just the Verb from the amp? I like it.

That was me trying to cop a bit of a Roy Rogers vibe. There is reverb on my amp but the chorus was acted after in Acid 3.0. It is one of 3 effects that you can add in and since I didn't have a chorus pedal, I had to go that route.

Chorus sounds really good with slide I think. Thanks for the comments, I need to redo it though. It needs an intro or something.

It just sounded real "slack",which I like. Got a little "Taj Mahal" scent to it.
