The shotgun almost killed me-true story

Postby watertore » Sun Apr 02, 2006 3:44 am

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Apr-01-06 AT 10:45 PM (EST)]This guy got crazy on me because one of our dogs pissed on his lawn, as we walked around the block the other night. He then started to go towards his door, screaming obscenities at me, and saying he was getting his shotgun and kill me. He has already come after another neighbor with the gun. That was too much for me. I looked him in the eye and told him in some serious NJ Italian lingo, That I learned on the hard side of the streets, that if he moved 1 more step, he would meet his maker. Anway, it is all in the song.

shotgun running
that's my life
she cried, cried, cried
women of the night parade
I hurt the ones I love

It was a pain in the butt. Being raised Italian, in Newark, NJ, I learned early on, how to eradicate this type thing. The problem is my morality gets in the way. The Soprano's is my family on tv. That is why I live in Ca. I can't go anymore west. Judy and I are moving out of here this summer. We are buying a small farm in Ohio, and gonna watch the sun go round. Walter

Yeah, that puts you at a real disadvantage, eh? People that get their conscience surgically removed seem much more stress-free.

Those are great tunes Walter. "Shotgun Running" is going in my car CD player fer sure - soon as I get a car.

thanks everyone for the support, and for listening to my music. It is what keeps me from killing someone. I have to play. That is why I did over 300 full lenght cds in the past year. My life is my song. Doing a cover, for me, doesn't ease my pain one drop, but spontobeat sure does. Long live artist expression that is free of the business side of life-in other words for me, a 1 man, self contained band, tour bus for my wife, me, and my dogs, my own studio to record whenever it hits me, a tour here and there, people that like to listen to my music on the net, and a enough gigs, that hire me strictly for me! I am done with the "making it in music" rap. Walter
