a proud moment for me!

The incredible [link:www.juniorwatson.com|JUNIOR WATSON] and me, taking a break from recording the upcoming [link:www.torontobluessociety.com/0407cov_catfish.htm|Bharath Rajakumar] album.

Junior is waaaaay at the top of my list of living guitar heroes, and getting a chance to play and record with him was a real thrill! Not only is he a brilliant guitar player, he's also outrageously funny and is a walking encyclopedia of music trivia and musical instrument lore. I am proud as hell to be on a recording that features Junior! Not only did I have a blast, and got to watch a master at work, I got paid for it too!

Just thought that I should add that I am not a full-time member of this band, just a frequently invited guest musician.

That IS cool! It's always a thrill when you get a chance to interact with someone you've admired from afar.

He wasn't playing on the recordings but he is still playing with them sometimes, as a sub for their regular bass player Mark Peetsma.
