I'm going to be famous, ma!

Or: YouTube killed the mp3 star :wha:

Spent yesterday afternoon doing this up:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBpt5jiODyI

I created the track entirely in Garageband, recording the final guitar part on video too, before syncing them up.

I programed the drums & bass using MIDI. I tapped away on the Mac's keyboard to enter a rough cut and, then used the arranger to fiddle with it.

The organ track is really my Strat, through a compressor and three chorus effects (multiple low intensity choruses worked better than one big one). I'm really happy how well it worked.

Still hate recording, especially with video, but I figure there's only one way to get better at it...

That's cool! I like it!

The "organ" sounds like a Hammond underwater, though. Get a cheap keyboard! :D

I can't play keyboard :P Actually, I can play one hand at a time (either hand), but can't get them going together.

I'd probably get one of the USB/MIDI ones, but I'm considering getting a MIDI controller for guitar instead, as I know how to play guitar already.

I liked it! That LP sounds good.

I got some videos of my friend and I playing. I should get around to uploading those to youtube sometime.
