solo harp recordings

I hear a lot about how bad the stock marine bands are. I keep trying the new stuff out there, but keep coming back to the old stock marine band.

I twisted my right foot real bad, and can't bang on my drum pedals, so I decided to put 4 mics around the room, and record with just my voice and harp. I forget how much I enjoying doing this. It takes me way back to playing in vacant stairways of apartments in Newark, N.J., as a teen, and parking garages all over the country. I love the reverb you get in those places. Walter

I am using 2 AKG 414's nearest me, and 2 Oktava MK-012's on the back of the room, all going through Electro Harmonix 12AY7 preamps, to a delta 1010 soundcard, and mixed with samplitude master version, and mastered on T Racks.
