drum patterns

Postby jaybee » Tue Nov 22, 2005 8:11 am

I have a BR-864 which has a drummachine in it, that is more rock/pop oriented... I can program in my own patterns, but I'm having a bit of a problem here, does anyone know where I can get hold of basic drum patterns?

thx in advance! :)

Yep, makes ya wonder. Maybe drummers arn't that dum after all.
I've programmed a few drum tracks in my time, and it aint easy.
Paradidlle's and triplets, omg.
I found that for basic drum tracks, "Band In A Box" software is quite usefull.
Just use the drum tracks, get rid of the rest.

thx lightning - I'll look into Band in a box, hope I can load the drumpatterns into the BR864 - if not, there'sll be some time spent copying... maybe not a bad thng, that way I'm sure I'll learn about the patterns ;)
