Something like that has been used on several tunes on recent popular CDs, including one of Steve Earle's that comes to mind.

Yeah, and Mark McDonald (who's on this board sometimes) used it on his first CD.

Yip,
I do go for "air" over "direct input".

But Shirley,if you have recorded via digital...that's it...all you are doing is overlay...or is that what studios do anyhoo with any signal?

Anyway, the hound is 10 years old and has just started to leak.

Nice warm sound there ....!!!
