apart that have the glue,cleaned them up,sanded the bottom
of the biscuits flat and low and behold the tone changed slightly
for the better,No more glueing for me!

Glue if you must, but I don't think it's necessary and I don't use the stuff. If you do use it, use something that dries really hard & brittle, because any softness between the biscuit and the cone will give you a muffled tone.
