Well, somebody sure did play it quit a bit for sure

Actually, the fretboards that are light colored wood that are painted black to look like ebony don't take a terrific amount of play to get that worn look.

Yes, I was looking at a mate's old Stella last night, to compare it with the one pictured above. The headstock looks almost identical. Weird that the body isn't parlour sized. Maybe it's an old Stella neck on a mismatched body, some sort of unholy hybrid :twisted:

But the body ain't that offset in realilty (not that this ain't the real world) then on the pictures
The neck is quit straight too as well are the frets and all.
I didn't pay much for this one but I was just curious.
And it 'll be fine by me if it be homemade by a handyman.
It's indeed an old piece of "note-factory" where I play some slide on and enjoy it's crappy sound

The neck could have been salvaged from a Harmony, but if it too looks crude it might be home made also. Overall the guitar looks to be cobbled together by a handyman. 8)
That's just my observation.

The only thing I know is that it has a dobro style tailpiece
Does somebody here can tell more about it (time period, name,...)
