Also, one of the kids is a metal head, been using one of the Marshall solid states, ran through the Carlsbro head tonight and Big John's Marshall 4 x 10 cab and loves the fact that it neither adds character or takes it away from his Silly Pedal.

And it's officially mine now

Tone: good, clean and big. The increase in volume on the guitar knob is quite steep, where I'd use 3 for rhythm/1 for solo on the Phoenix, it needs to be at 2 or slightly less because when you go from 3 to 1, windows fall out and the airport rings up to complain. The reverb is quite effective too, you can do really good maniacal laughter with it wound up full.

Not bad for a thing that was being abandoned if I didn't take it under my wing.

Might need preamps to have much character - then again, I haven't heard it...

6 input amp, 150w, each channel has 1 x high Z input, 1 x low Z balanced input and a gain control, bass & treble and on/off switches for fx & reverb. 6th channel has multipin (din?) socket for tape/external source. Front inputs for fx in & out, and remote switch. Masters are 1 ea reverb, presence, volume.

On the back, 2 x 4 ohm min speaker outputs, phones socket, line output & fx send/return sockets.

What is it specifically for, and will it handle multiple guitars going through it?
