Then I started frequenting the vintage amp board and got involved in this bassman project.
Funny how that quest for tone has evolved so many mods for amps.

I saw Ted Weber passed away friday. RIP

Found the amp in a corner of local store--Its an has 1946-2006 50 year anniversary model plate but pc board is stamped 2005

Made in Mex but has made in USA speaker power tubes are Sovtek--will change those to mullards to reduce headroom--probably leave pre-amp tubes ( groovetube )

Was going trough some stuff in my storage area and just have too much

Will probably be putting some cool stuff up here soon

Have a demo Tom Delonge strat in surf green that I'll be putting up for $450 shipped

Got it from the same store-couldn't resist but dont need it

Lots more to come

First:

Trust me. It's worth it. I did the goldpin option on my blond pro jr - schweet.

Second:
http://www.eminence.com/guitar.asp?speaker_size=10

Ragin Cajun or Ramrod. Both are great speakers
I tried a Red Fang in a 1x10 enclosure, fell in love with it, ordered one, then discovered it doesn't fit the Pro Jr enclosure..
I swapped it for a Ramrod. I'm reeeeeally happy with my Pro Jr now.
It chimes at low volumes, does Rolling Stones-esque grind and mid volume, and really barks and snarls when cranked.
I like it best at mid volume. Its mids are more complex - richer and fuller, and it cleans up nicely when the guitar's volume knob is rolled back
Very, very cool little amp
I even found a little roadcase with casters for it
Only other thing I might recommend - a Weber Mini Mass attenuator (one lives in the rear cab of my pro jr)...
Great for wailing at bedroom volumes
Mates particularly well with the Pro Jr

I like to jack up the input signal with a Barber LTD Low-Gain OD Pedal, Killer tone.
