Yeah. My friend was tuning his high E string too high, it snapped, got stuck in the palm of his hand and the under side of his forearm. He pulled it out, and has a few scars. But he still has two eyes!! HA.

Now that's a blues song in the making!

I had the guy at the music store show me the first time that I bought strings. He was happy to show me, I guess he thought that it would encourage me to change the strings more often if I thought it was easy.

I just get impatient when nobody responds fast..
Because,I just cant stand to be ignored,that happens to me a lot of the time,on various message boards. But I'll try to be patient with the responses.. I also did go to that site,so thanks for that..
I guess I'm just wanting some magical potion to take,to make me be a whiz at changing strings..But I know it takes practice,for me, I learn from watching someone else do it a couple of times,then trying it myself. Only problem is, I don't got nobody to show me..

Lots of times,I read about many blues musicians have accomplaces,like people to accompany them in their studies of blues,their life of blues,they had guides and people to help them..Just look at this,Charlie Patton helped Robert Johnson, who took many under his wing such as Howlin' Wolf,Johnny Shines took on Robert Johnson under his wing..Muddy Waters and Little Walter were friends..see,it's like this circle that goes on and on,and I just only named a few..

One of my guitar teachers had the unfortunate experience of finding milk in his acoustic guitar. Which is sort of like cat piss in the case.
