Speaking of cheap guitars, today I raised the action on my squire strat and put a bottle neck to the strings... woa. I'm glad I didn't sell it on ebay after I bought the stratocaster like I was plannin to. Its got a very nice muddy sound when you turn the volume down.

OH MY... walter, that is an awesome car. The 59 cadillac eldorado is my favorite all time car and that one is.... damn, its nice. If I am ever in your neck of the woods (which i might be in the next year as I may be goin to california with my friend) you're gonna have to give me a ride in that thing.

hi savage: You will have to do a time transport to 1996. I sold both of my caddy's, to go to college. I bought a geo metro, about the smallest on the planet, to commute the 80 miles a day to school. It was hard to let them go. The 59 limo is one of the few left, and the 63 park ave, was one of only 1600 made. The greenish park ave can be seen in dwight yokums video- guitars caddillacs old hillbilly songs. We did that down in austin. I miss the caddy's at times. I don't drive anything very spectacular anymore car wise, but use this for travel now. It is a 33 foot motorhome, completly self contained with 2 tv's, sattillete, dvd, shower, standard fridge, microwave, oven, stove, queen size bed, cd stero, ac/heat, and lots of legroom, even more than the caddy's! You are welcome to ride with us anytime. We are planning on leaving california later this summer, and moving to ohio. Walter

this was taken on the beach at malibu, ca. I was down there to be filmed for a french documentary, and to record with Patti Sterling, in hollywood. It was quite some fun driving this around hollywood!

I've heard good things about the old Fender Japan guitars, but I've heard a lot about how they went down the drain. I havent played anough MIJ fenders to know. You know if thats just talk or what?

Quality on Fender Japan is still amazing. Mine was made in November. Best Strat I've ever played, and less expensive than the MIA ones they sell here. Fender Japan guitars are made by Fuji Gen Gakki, which is the factory that makes Ibanez guitars, among others. I believe they made the Orville guitars (MIJ Gibsons) too.
