Certainly close...the difference I see is that the Dimarzio's, the mounting screws screw throught the cover. On Mine, they screw through the pickguard. Maybe thye had different mounting options?

I've been off the bigroad for a long time...nice to be back. I finally got my password/user name all sorted out after about 4 years off the board. Glad to be back, and to see the place is still thriving!


That is drop dead gorgeous. I'll have to play a lot more lap steel before I get anywhere near something like that. Might be a build project down the road, but that's a ways down the road :)

I'm not sure what this is for a P'up. I like the sounds. It has a great warm HB tone and a nice SC when split. I haven't ventured to pull it apart. I haven't found any pix of G & L that look similar, but I also haven;t found many pix of G & L at all.

I just got caught up watching several AJ Ghent vids on youtube. That kid is insane. Its kind of neat to see how similar his style is to Robert Randolph. You can really hear the influences they share from the church.
