That's six one hundredths of an inch or 1.524mm. Therefore it is doubtful that the National (Lace) pickup would have fitted the guitar anyhow.
As far as I know the Flatbucker is the same thickness as Nationals version of the Lace so it wouldn't have fitted either.
As I see it you have the following options:

1) Deface the guitar to lower the Lace height. - I wouldn't

2) Try the Lace closer to the bridge, maybe on the cone cover even, like the National Hotplate. - Worth a try

3) Go for a different method of amplification.

The Lace slimline is different from the National slimline and the Flatbucker. First, it's made by Lace, which no longer makes the National, and the Flatbucker in the photos above is handmade in Germany and fairly expensive due to the Euro/Dollar right now.

I'd opt for the new National Slimline. That's a new neck on yours though isn't it Kevin? Is the angle correct? Although that pickup you have on it looks pretty fat....

In your picture there seemed to be a third more thickness under this, if that makes sense?

Looks like a different pickup to mine Knuckle. I'm at work at the moment so it's just a perception. I will check it when I get home tonight and let you know.

If you're committed to mounting that pickup, no matter what:
You can carefully cut and gouge by hand, a pocket out of the top with a razor knife and sharp wood chisel.
It looks like you got a pickguard there on one guitar, you can cut a hole through that, but it's a tough material so you'll need a coping saw and drill.
Or just send the pickup back and forget it.

What models of resonator are you trying it on?

My best advice would be to move the pickup closer to the bridge. The clearance only gets better in that direction. But from your picture I'm not sure even that will help... need more neck angle or neck height to make that sort of pickup work.
