I like your idea. Like it very much.
There's of course a question of money involved to make the prints.

I'm not selling anything here, it's a somekind of a gift to BRB.
You know more than anyone else we don't have the money to give to the forum.
Stefanie I just posted another topic in Way Off Topic - Numbers,
maybe you know a couple of thousand by Bob Dylan.
Thanks for the cds the book and everything else.

Thanks for that beautiful ring and Johnny Cash CD you gave me for my valentine...Love from your Poeppie...Stefanie

I went to the post office today and the shipping cost is not too expensive, lucky me. But I had not the right packing material.
So I try to send the painting tomorrow.

I think we have to set a time limit to the bidding for the second painting. I suggest 3 weeks from now. At the end of the first week of march.

I hope I can finnish the painting of Son House tonight (i worked on it this morning and it's already a great portrait) so I can go to the post tomorrow and mail it to PappyJ. It's going to have over a week before he get it I guess and start the auction will take also a day or two.
Maybe Ricochet has a point in broadening the auction outside the forum,I don't know ?

2005-02-12T17:37:49+00:00 <![CDATA[RE: Attention Blues Artist Election ! ! !]]> Originally Bruneau wanted to help raise some money for the "Road".
I guess "Pappy" would/could have some ideas about raise'n funds for the site.
I don't disagree about any "Mo Betta" ideas about raise'n money an stuff. Let's hear em on a different thread.
If were gonna "prime the pump" with this auction let's get on with it.
We could examine all the details of a fund raiser for as long as it takes to kill the idea or we could just make a bid and move on to the next idea.
Hey, someone's gonna get a cool piece of art an Pappy's gonna get some money to keep the site goin.
