I do C/C++ for my "day job" for all known platforms but also work alot in Python, some Perl (if you put a gun to my head), Lua (learning), Object Pascal (a la Delphi on WIndows, Lazarus everywhere else), javascript on occasion, java on occasion, bash on occasion. Some TeX. Work on all platforms (WInLinMac) but also code for Playstation 3, 2, PSP, PS Vita and XPeria phones. Pretty much if you have any Sony tech, there is probably a little of me in the heart of it all...

That's quite a lot! I mostly do PHP web apps; have done some C, Perl, bash scripts, etc, as well.

I was working with some members of the crew to make a blues adventure game online, just for the members. Whoever solved it first would win (I can now reveal since it cannot happen there) a signed photo of a famous New Orleans blues and jazz musician who died just after Katrina.

That sounds interesting. Very sad about the teenager.

Of late I have learned to enjoy blues from around the world. In my car my road tunes range from domestic to Australian (love Ash Grunwald, Collard Greens and Gravy and my sweetie Fiona Boyes. Love the French blues band Mercy though the lead singer is dead. The guitarist Jean Paul blew me away at an informal jam in southern california...

Other local faves include Hound Dog Taylor, Li'l Ed and the Blues Imperials and Luther Allision.

A software engineer by trade, I am noodling at being a blues guitarist. I still suck and probably always will. Living in Las Vegas, my options for blues is slim but I will always cherish my Hound Dog Tailor, Robert Johnson, Dave Specter, Lurrie Bell, Luther Allison and more. Listening to Robert J. doing Riverside Blues as I write this.

One thing I have that is of some pride is an axe I bought from Buddy Guy that was signed by him, Jimmy Johnson, Guitar Shorty and a host of others. No, I don't play that one :)

Looking forward to learning from others as this is a path, not a destination. I used to be active on the Blindmans Blues Forum, now defunct. I think it is time for some Luther Allison or the man himself, the Wolf...
