If you have a pair of reverse wound, reverse polarized pickups, you wire them in like any other pair. Their reverse magnetic polarity and winding make them halves of a big humbucker when they're connected in series or parallel. The signal voltage comes out in phase, while external magnetic noise voltage is opposite and cancels. You just have to look for pickups made that way and buy 'em.

thanks Rico - i guess the manufacturer ought to know, if i slip them a brief enquiry pre-purchase?

To do that you need a pair of P-90s with reverse polarization and reverse winding.

how can you work that one out please - are there circuit guides for the uninitiated  ? have a pair of Yam alnico humbuckers on a SA500 which sound unispirational played clean but ok with gain from an amp - but i'm convinced a pair of P90's should sound blusier than the Yam humbuckers played clean?
