It was a one-take shot for the Resonator and the singer.

I've been gone a while and not playing very much, but A couple weeks ago, I got a short break from school and the wife let me have a little time... ;)

Me and Myles Loud know each other thru other forums on line.

Background:
I recorded this tune for a Jake E Lee Tribute that I took part in back in 2000-2001 time frame. I used an old acoustic for the slide (this is the tune that I learned basic slide playing for), but was never happy with the original singer's performance.

Fast-Forward 3 years:
I bought my Resonator in Feb 2004 and found out Mr. Myles Loud was part of the Tribute also. I wanted to re-record the song, but with a "different" singer (aka, one who can sing it in the song's original key and not require me to tune down)

Myles and I talked about it last year, doing it just for ourselves and leaving the Tribute project the way it was, so as not to piss-off the original singer... we finally hooked up on it 2 weeks ago.

So Myles and I jumped on the Virtual Back porch, let it rip and had Mr Tomas Carlstrom behind the console for us twisting the knobs.

Hope you like it.

Bow: Resonator and Tamborine (Texas)
Myles Loud: Vox and Harp (Georgia)
Tomas Carlstrom: Mix/Engineering (Sweden)

(Isn't the internet a great thing?)

I though you all might dig it.

Enjoy and Comments Welcome
